Hi, I’m Paul Drake and I’m running to be your next Somerset County Freeholder
A lifelong resident of Somerset County, I grew up in Somerville and currently live in Hillsborough where my wife and I raised our two children.
I served on the Township Committee in Hillsborough, the Hillsborough Planning Board, and Board of Adjustment. Currently I am a commissioner on the Somerset County Park Commission and am a member of the Somerset County Energy Council.
I am a trained Professional Planner and an environmental expert and educator. I’ve also worked for the National Park Service, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and the State Planning Commission, before my current position with PSE&G as a Public Affairs manager. I also teach Urban Design & Planning courses to college students at Rutgers University.
